SERVICE PROVIDER CODE OF CONDUCT

This Service Agreement is entered into between:

Stakelyn Group (Pty) Ltd
(“Stakelyn Group”, “we”, “our”)
The legal entity that owns and operates the GlowaGirlz Platform.

“GlowaGirlz” is an unregistered trade name, 100% owned by Stakelyn Group (Pty) Ltd. Any reference to “GlowaGirlz” within this Agreement refers to the platform and services operated by Stakelyn Group (Pty) Ltd.

By using the GlowaGirlz Platform, you acknowledge that Stakelyn Group (Pty) Ltd is the sole legal owner of the GlowaGirlz brand and platform.


1. Purpose and Scope

This Code of Conduct (“the Code”) outlines the professional standards and ethical behavior expected of all Service Providers (“Providers”) registered on the GlowaGirlz Platform (“the Platform”).

The Code applies to both operational areas of GlowaGirlz:

  • Beauty Services: Delivering professional services to clients through appointments.

  • Beauty Marketplace: Listing, selling, and fulfilling beauty products to clients or other users.

Compliance with this Code is required for continued participation on the Platform. It ensures a safe, respectful, and professional environment for Clients, Providers, and Sellers.


2. Professional Conduct Expectations

2.1 Respect and Integrity

  • Respect Clients, Colleagues, and Users: Always interact with Clients, fellow Providers, Sellers, and GlowaGirlz representatives in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Honesty and Transparency: Provide accurate information about your skills, services, availability, or products. Avoid misrepresentation or false advertising.

2.2 Client and Marketplace Relations

  • Privacy: Protect all personal information of Clients and users in the Marketplace. Do not disclose sensitive data.

  • Professional Boundaries: Maintain professional interaction; avoid offensive or inappropriate behavior in both service appointments and Marketplace communications.

  • Product Responsibility: Ensure products listed or sold are safe, authentic, and described accurately.

2.3 Punctuality and Preparedness

  • Arrive on Time / Fulfill Orders Promptly: Be punctual for all service bookings, and deliver Marketplace orders or shipments according to agreed timelines.

  • Appearance and Readiness: Dress appropriately for services and maintain hygiene standards. Ensure products are properly packaged, labeled, and safe for sale.

2.4 Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Safety Guidelines: Use protective equipment, follow hygiene protocols for services, and comply with relevant product safety standards.

  • Report Hazards: Immediately report incidents, accidents, defective products, or unsafe conditions to GlowaGirlz.

2.5 Work Ethic and Quality

  • Service Quality: Perform services to the best of your ability, meeting client expectations.

  • Product Quality: Ensure products meet legal standards, are in good condition, and match the advertised description.

  • Tools and Resources: Unless otherwise specified, Providers/Sellers are responsible for their own tools, products, inventory, and transportation.
     

3. Zero-Tolerance Violations

Any substantiated violation will result in suspension or permanent removal and may involve law enforcement if appropriate:

  • Theft, Assault, or Harm

  • Harassment or Discrimination

  • Misrepresentation of Qualifications, Services, or Products

  • Fraudulent Marketplace Activity (e.g., selling counterfeit or prohibited goods)


4. Reporting and Accountability

4.1 Incident Reporting

  • Report misconduct immediately to GlowaGirlz Management.

  • Cooperate fully with investigations and provide supporting evidence.

4.2 Disciplinary Action

  • Written Warning: Minor infractions.

  • Suspension: Repeated or serious misconduct.

  • Permanent Removal: Severe breaches or zero-tolerance violations.


5. General Professionalism and Reputation

  • Brand Representation: Always represent GlowaGirlz professionally in service delivery, product listings, or public interactions.

  • Ethical Standards: Maintain high moral and professional standards in all dealings with clients, colleagues, and Marketplace users.


6. Acknowledgment and Compliance

By using the GlowaGirlz Platform, Providers acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Code of Conduct. Non-compliance may result in penalties, suspension, or permanent removal.


7. GlowaGirlz Disclaimer

  • GlowaGirlz connects Clients with independent beauty professionals and facilitates Marketplace transactions.

  • Providers/Sellers are not employees; they are independent contractors.

  • GlowaGirlz does not guarantee service quality, product quality, or reliability.

  • Clients and Providers/Sellers assume responsibility for service outcomes, product safety, delivery, and conduct.


Privacy Policy


1. Introduction

GlowaGirlz values the privacy of all users and complies with POPIA and other applicable South African privacy laws. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information for both of our platform operations:

  • Beauty Services: Booking and managing appointments with professional service providers.

  • Beauty Marketplace: Listing, selling, and purchasing beauty products through the platform.

This Policy applies to all users, including clients, beauty artists, and product sellers.


2. Information Collected

We collect information from users depending on their role and interactions:

Information Provided by Users:

  • Clients: Name, contact information, account details, booking history, payment details, and preferences.

  • Beauty Artists / Service Providers: Name, contact info, qualifications, services offered, availability, payment details.

  • Sellers: Business details, product information, pricing, inventory, payment details, order history.

Automatically Collected Information:

  • Device information (IP address, browser type, operating system)

  • Cookies and usage data to improve platform functionality

Third-Party Sources:

  • Payment processors, logistics partners, and identity verification services as required for transactions and security


3. Use of Information

We use your information to operate both services and marketplace safely and efficiently:

  • Account Management: Create and maintain user accounts, manage bookings and product listings.

  • Payment Processing: Facilitate transactions between clients, providers, and sellers, including payouts.

  • Identity Verification: Confirm legitimacy of users for security and compliance.

  • Platform Performance & Security: Monitor usage, detect fraud, and maintain cybersecurity.

  • Customer Support: Respond to inquiries, resolve disputes, and manage complaints.

  • Marketing & Personalization (optional): Provide relevant offers or updates with user consent.


4. Sharing Information

We share user information only when necessary for platform operations or legal compliance:

  • With Other Users: Share only information required to fulfill service appointments or product orders.

  • Third-Party Service Providers: Payment processors, analytics providers, logistics partners, and other service providers supporting platform operations.

  • Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Share data to comply with laws, court orders, or regulatory authorities.

  • Business Transfers: In case of mergers, acquisitions, or sales of assets, user data may be transferred as part of the transaction.


5. Data Storage & Security

We implement strict measures to protect user data:

  • Secure Storage: All data is stored on encrypted servers with SSL/TLS protection.

  • Access Control: Only authorized personnel and service providers with legitimate duties may access data.

  • Data Minimization: We only collect and retain information necessary for platform operations or legal obligations.

  • Retention: Data is retained only as long as necessary for services, Marketplace operations, or legal compliance.

  • Incident Response: Procedures in place for managing breaches, including notification where required.


6. User Rights Under POPIA

All users have rights under POPIA, applicable to both services and Marketplace:

  • Access: Request confirmation and copies of personal data held by GlowaGirlz.

  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information.

  • Deletion: Request removal of personal data, subject to legal or contractual obligations.

  • Objection / Withdraw Consent: Object to processing for non-essential purposes, including marketing.

  • Complaint: Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator if you believe your data is misused.

GlowaGirlz provides accessible channels for users — clients, beauty artists, and sellers — to exercise these rights.


GlowaGirlz Service Provider Agreement
 

1. Purpose

This Agreement governs the provision of services and/or sale of products by Providers on the GlowaGirlz Platform, including:

  • Beauty Services: Professional appointments and service delivery to clients.

  • Beauty Marketplace: Listing, selling, and delivering beauty products to clients or other users.

It sets out the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of Providers and ensures a safe, professional, and compliant environment.


2. Code of Conduct and Service Standards

Providers must:

  • Adhere to the GlowaGirlz Code of Conduct.

  • Deliver services and products professionally, diligently, and safely.

  • Ensure all products comply with safety and quality standards.

  • Maintain proper hygiene, tools, and inventory for both services and Marketplace operations.


3. Non-Solicitation

  • Providers must not solicit Clients or Marketplace users for direct transactions outside the Platform.

  • This restriction applies during active registration and 12 months after the last service or sale.
     

4. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • Providers must maintain client, user, and company confidentiality.

  • All data must be handled in accordance with the GlowaGirlz Privacy Policy and POPIA.
     

5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • This Agreement is governed by South African law.

  • Disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of South African courts.
     

6. Updates

GlowaGirlz may update this Legal support from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on the Platform, and users are encouraged to review it regularly.
